Question: My windows have already been decorated and I don't want to drill holes to damage the wall. Can blinds still be installed?
Answer: Yes.
This is precisely the starting point of our "No-Hole-Drilling" series. Imagine this: After purchasing the blinds, you don't need an electric drill, no expansion screws, and even no need to hire an installer - just stick the track onto the window frame, tighten the adjustment knob, and you'll hear a "click" sound indicating that it's all done.
It's much easier to dismantle. Just unscrew it in the reverse direction and take it off. The window frame is completely clean, with not even a trace left.
This is not magic. It's our self-adaptive pressure-absorbing track that we developed over three years. It can sense different types of window frames - wood, aluminum alloy, tiles, glass - and automatically adjust the clamping force. The maximum load capacity is 15 kilograms. As long as the thickness of the window frame is between 1.5 and 4 centimeters, it can basically be installed.
Question: You mentioned "intelligence", but where exactly is the intelligence? Could it just be that you added a remote control?
Answer: The remote-controlled curtains from a decade ago could only be called "electric" and not "smart".
The core feature of the current smart blinds is that they can sense when you need different levels of light.
For instance: You can set in the app "Gradually turn on 20% of the light at 7 a.m. on weekdays", so the sunlight will slowly wake you up, not abruptly. You can also set "Away Mode", where the blinds open and close randomly after you leave home, imitating the presence of someone at home, and even a thief would hesitate upon seeing this.
A more advanced feature is the automatic mode. The light sensor integrated into the blinds will continuously monitor the intensity of sunlight. When the sun is too bright, it will automatically reduce the angle of the blinds. On cloudy days with insufficient light, it will automatically open. The entire process does not require any action from you; the window is "acting according to the weather" by itself.
Voice control is also a standard feature. Xiaoi Nengzi, Tmall Jingpin, and Alexa can all be connected. You lie on the sofa and say "Adjust the blinds to 50%", and it will do as you say.
Question: How long can it last after being charged once? I don't want to climb up and remove the battery every month.
Answer: Just sleep soundly.
We use a 6000mAh lithium battery, combined with a deep sleep circuit design - when the motor is not working, the system power consumption drops to an extremely low level. After actual testing, under the condition of opening and closing normally 2-3 times per day, the battery can last for 6 to 8 months.
Charging is also very convenient. The hidden USB-C interface allows your phone charging cable to power it. You don't have to climb a ladder or raise the blinds to the top. You can simply stand up and plug it in.
Question: The kitchen in my home has a lot of smoke, and the bathroom is very damp. Will the blinds I install wear out quickly?
Answer: Ordinary blinds would be used, but we have a specific solution for this.
For the kitchen and bathroom areas, we have chosen the waterproof and oil-resistant fabric series. The surface has been specially treated. When water droplets fall on it, they roll off directly. Oil stains can be wiped off with a damp cloth. The material itself also contains a mold inhibitor, so it won't develop black spots even if it remains damp for a long time.
There was a customer who owned a restaurant. The windows in the kitchen had been installed for three years, but the blades remained clean. He said they were much more durable than expected.
Question: How good can the shading effect of the blinds be? I need complete darkness when I sleep.
Answer: If you're looking for a complete darkness like "you can't even see your hand in front of your face", our full blackout series will meet your needs.
The core technology consists of two layers: one layer of high-density weaving blocks out direct light, and the other layer of black matte coating absorbs scattered light. When the blades are fully closed, the light-blocking rate can reach over 99%.
Some users have reported: "On weekends, I sleep until 10 in the morning, but the room is still completely dark, with not a single ray of light. Even when the curtains are drawn, it can still be used as a bedroom during the day."
Question: You claim that your fabric is sun-protective. But exactly to what extent does it provide protection?
Answer: UPF 50+, UV blocking rate over 99%.
This is not a protective layer applied on the surface; it's the inherent sun protection of the raw yarn - the nano-sized titanium dioxide particles are added to the fibers during the spinning process. To put it simply, it's not like putting a sun-protective coat on the fibers; it's making the fibers themselves inherently possess the sun protection function.
The advantage is that it cannot be washed off, cannot be damaged by sun exposure, and does not deteriorate with use. We conducted tests and found that after 50 washes, the sun protection ability remained almost unchanged.
Question: In the southern humid regions, will the blinds get moldy or condense moisture?
Answer: For both of these issues, our fabrics have been taken into consideration.
One is moldiness. During the fabric production process, a mold inhibitor was added, not as a post-treatment step, but as an inherent property of the material itself.
One issue is condensation. The surface has been treated with anti-static properties, so water vapor is less likely to form large droplets. Instead, it forms a uniform layer of water film, which quickly evaporates. There won't be any embarrassing situations like "a layer of mist on the blades, and when it dries, it turns into water stains".
Question: We have a cat at home. The blinds are covered with cat hair. Is it easy to clean?
Answer: We have received this question many times.
The reason why cat hair is difficult to clean is due to static electricity. We added a static-dissipating coating to the fabric, which makes it less likely for charges to accumulate. When cat hair falls on it, it can be easily blown off with a gentle breeze, or wiped clean with a damp cloth.
A cat owner commented: "Previously, I had to use the hair-removing roller every day. Now, it's sufficient to clean it once a week."
Q: How long can your blinds last? I want to get everything at once and don't want to replace them every few years.
Answer: The design lifespan is more than ten years.
The standards for several key components: The surface of the aluminum alloy blades is treated with anodizing and fluorocarbon coating, and it shows no significant fading after a 2000-hour weathering test; all hardware is made of stainless steel; the design service life of the motor is 20,000 opening and closing cycles, which, if calculated based on 3 opening and closing times per day, can last for 18 years.
Regarding the fabric, we use a pre-spinning dyeing process. The color is embedded within the fibers, not applied on the surface. The color that fades under the sun is only a very thin layer, while the color inside remains intact. Therefore, it's not an exaggeration to say that it won't fade for five or ten years.
Question: If a part breaks after a few years, can it still be repaired? Or does it have to be replaced completely?
Answer: It can be repaired. There's no need to replace the entire thing.
Our product design follows the modular principle: if the motor breaks, just replace it; if the control module fails, replace it; and if the fabric blades are damaged, they can be replaced separately. The hardware components are all of standard specifications, and accessories can be purchased from the market.
One of our customers used the product for five years. However, there was a minor issue with the motor. We sent it back and replaced it with a new one. After installation, the customer continued to use it. He said this was the "one-step solution" - not that it would never break, but that when it did, it could be repaired.
Question: The last question: What exactly is the difference between you and those cheaper products available on the market?
Answer: The problem lies in some areas that you cannot see.
The things you can see, such as the color, style and function, are all quite similar. But the things you can't see -
The friction coefficient of the fabric is controlled below 0.3, resulting in a smoother feel and quieter opening and closing.
The operating noise of the motor is kept below 28 decibels, even quieter than the sound of turning pages.
The micro-pressure sensors on the track ensure the installation is firm without damaging the window frame.
Before each batch of fabric leaves the factory, the ultraviolet blocking rate is tested. Those that fail are reworked.
All these factors combined result in an increase in costs. However, after users have used the product, the "comfort" they can feel is gradually accumulated from these invisible aspects.
Postscript
These questions were all asked by real users.
Some were concerns before purchase, some were feedback after use, and some came to mind suddenly after a year. Mingchen's engineers collected all these questions one by one. They addressed those that could be improved and explained those that could be clarified.
In their words: "The questions that users ask are those they have already considered. The questions they didn't ask are the ones we should have thought of in advance."
