From July 5 to 8, 2026, Weifang Mingchen Shading Technology Co., Ltd. presented its next-generation smart electric pergola systems, tubular motors, and high-performance shading fabrics at The Big 5 Dubai 2026 — the largest construction and building materials trade fair in the Middle East.
Show Highlight: Smart Electric Louvered Pergola Takes Center Stage
At the exhibition, Mingchen Shading featured its independently developed Model 220 Aluminum Electric Louvered Pergola System. Built with high-strength 6063-T5 aluminum alloy profiles and driven by ultra-quiet tubular motors, the system supports 0° to 135° electric louver rotation for precise light modulation and ventilation control. Finished with BASF-imported powder coatings through an advanced outdoor electrostatic spraying process, the product delivers outstanding weatherability and UV-fade resistance — ideally suited to the intense heat and prolonged sun exposure typical of Middle Eastern climates.
The booth attracted developers, hotel group procurement managers, and engineering contractors from over ten countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Egypt. After hands-on demonstrations of the pergola's electric opening, closing, and shading performance, numerous visitors praised the motor's whisper-quiet operation and the structure's robust stability.
Tubular Motors & Shading Fabrics on Display
Alongside the flagship pergola, Mingchen Shading also showcased its proprietary ultra-quiet tubular motor series (Φ35 / Φ45 / Φ59) and a PTFE & PVC high-performance shading fabric sample collection. The tubular motors — operating at noise levels as low as 38 dB with IP44 protection — drew inquiries from multiple smart-home integrators, while the shading fabrics, certified by SGS for flame retardancy and tensile strength, meet technical entry standards for European, North American, and Middle Eastern markets.
On-Site Cooperation Milestones
According to on-site statistics, the Mingchen Shading booth welcomed over 120 groups of professional buyers across the four-day event, resulting in 8 signed letters of intent and cooperation memoranda. These covered hotel outdoor pergola projects, villa shading system customization, and tubular motor OEM procurement, with a combined indicative value exceeding USD 3.5 million.
